Street name winners revealed

by Nikita Weymann on June 15th, 2013

And today we announce the street names!

We had excellent participation in the Big Street-Naming Contest. The entries ran the gamut from Puns to Sublime. There were themed requests, memorial requests, and historical requests; I’m happy to say we will have examples of each.

So here is a map and a legend (“hurriedly scrawled using mud,” Yvonne muttered), to show you the results. It will be followed by a fancy formal map in the Land Office, and street signs.

Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry! And I would like to specially thank the local merchants who donated prizes for this contest.
